...meaning to what we are trying to get them to understand. For example in theses to messages the first one “in a car some nuts almost got me a while ago’ compare to ‘an hour ago a man in a beat up Honda civic almost ran my car over on fau avenue at the red light’. Theses two scenarios are almost the same but the second on is better because it uses specific words which clear up any confusion caused by the general narrowing words. Specific words are more precise than general words .what we can do to speak more specific? we can try and select words that capture what we trying to say for example if I was to say ‘ that dress was ugly’ I could altar what I’m trying to convoy by saying ‘I think that dress was really ugly because it doesn’t flatter her figure and the color made her look washout ‘. The difference between the two statements was that the specific words show a shade of meaning of what you feel because other may feel different then how you feel. Then there are concrete words that help us see, hear, and taste what the speaker is saying through words .the word speak can be consider to be a abstract word because there are many different ways that we speak .when we use precise words it know as narrowing a larger category of words down .to clarify a simple word we can add details to the word to help improve the contain in which we are using that word. By providing examples on how that word effect people. For example if someone was to say’ she is a very loyal friend’ the way we......

...Four Examples of Career Plans CAREER PLAN EXAMPLE 1 Looking ahead at what is coming in the next month makes reality sink in. It feels like I just started college a couple of months ago and looking for a career is years away. Looking at the questions in the book makes me realize what type of career I am truly interested in. The many questions of money dwell in everyone's minds from time to time. After graduating from UMD I will probably have around $7,000 worth of college loans to pay back. I am interested in staying in Minnesota for a couple of years to get started and take some time off from schooling. In general, we all want to have lots of money, live in a nice home and drive a nice car or two. For me a nice comfortable place is all I am in need of after graduation. I have a nice reliable car that my dad is helping me pay for. So, transportation is not a concern I have. Working with others is something I enjoy doing. I enjoy talking and solving problems in group settings. In general, I like to know what is going to happen each day, but I also enjoy excitement. A little bit of both would be the ideal job for me. Depending on what the weather is like is if I want to be indoors or outdoors. If it were nice and sunny I would prefer to be outside enjoying the rays. When it comes to supervision, I prefer an atmosphere where there is not a lot of control and supervision. I am the type of person who likes to get the instructions and then be left by myself or with a group to do the...

Life Plan

...* Life Plan for Micah Taylor Presented by Leader: Kareem White Team Members: * Ernast May * Nathanial Rhenwrick * Willie Nelson III April 4, 2013 Introduction We, the future leaders of the Journey would like to thank you for your willingness and kindness to attend our meetings. Not everyone would have been as courageous, honest and open to discuss personal matters that relate to their lives. By no means do we identify ourselves as professionals or experts in the subject matters discussed in this document. We are simply a group of men who have committed ourselves to a process that includes self-awareness, reflection to identify our issues and to control/eliminate the weaknesses. We identify our issues as weaknesses, because they draw us from the Light of God and places us in a state of Darkness. When the ability to shine the Light has been removed from us, we are unable to share the source of the light with humanity. We fellowship to share and resolve the many issues we encounter in life. Our purpose is not prejudice, judgment or to be critical of one another. We have all fallen short, yet we strive to finish the race and to become what God has called us to be. Allow us to share with you a model that will help you in your search for answers. This plan is only the first step and we hope it will be a tool to guide you to the desired change you expressed to us. I. Your Expressions We heard you say that anger, lust, uncertainty...

Life Plan

...The Plan Faith I believe in God. I believe that He is my Heavenly Father and that He ultimately wants me to be happy. I will make Him and His plan for me a priority in my life. This will be done through prayer to Him. I will do this in the morning and in the evening. I will go to Him with my thanks, questions, and concerns. I will do this so that I can better feel His love and influence in my life. I will do this because my life has been truly blessed, and I want to express my gratitude. This will allow me to recognize the many ways I have been blessed. I will also dedicate at least a portion of my morning to reading and pondering the scriptures. I will do this to better understand His character and His plan. 1. Pray at least every morning and evening. 2. Read scriptures daily. Create and follow study plans. 3. Attend the temple once a week. 4. Complete church assignments. Including but not limited to home teaching. My spiritual plan is discussed more in depth in my spiritual plan document. Life Plan

...My Life Plan Stephanie Bazilio Keiser University My Life Plan By definition, success is “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one’s goals” (Dictionary.com, 2016). John Rawls believed that a “rational life plan” (Boss, 2015, pg. 15) needs to be developed in order to achieve success. With a life plan, the goal-setter is made aware of all the progression they’ve made, which will subconsciously make them want to do more, until they have met all of their goals. In view of this, I will be sharing my values, my strengths and weaknesses, my short and long term goals, and my plans of action to achieve those goals. This is my life plan. There are a lot of values I view as important, however, I managed to come up with my own personal statement of important values. It is important for me to live with purpose and with immense ambition, with determination and great focus. It is important for me to tear down walls, searching for independence and honesty, while preserving the sacredness of God. It is important that I welcome challenges with perseverance that will lead to wisdom and it is important that I share faith, provide hope, and spread love. I want to encourage, provide guidance, and to also inspire others, but most importantly, to love radically, serve sacrificially, and to give generously. What I have found to be my strengths during this phase of my life is the responsibility I......

MY LIFE PLAN

It has taken me several years to reach my present point of self-realization and determination. I have had to make choices between continuing my education and working to support myself and pay my bills. In addition, for the past two years, I have also had to divide my time between taking care of my family and studying, which further blurred my career goals. While I was studying, working, and taking care of my family, I decided to pursue my interest in social sciences wish was my dream.
My long term goals are: To follow my dream, to own my own home and to meet a positive companion. These are goals I intend to achieve in the next couple of years. In order to succeed academically I have to stay focused at home and in school. By managing how much television I watch per day and limiting how often I hangout , it will give me more time to study and increase my chances of receiving all my credits and passing each semester. Completing my homework without procrastinating and using my resources such as my teachers when I need help are methods I use to accomplish this short term goal.
I am eager to attain my Bachelor's Degree (hopefully by 2015) and am planning to continue here at pcc for my associate degree. One of the driving motivations of my education is my children. I want them to see that it is possible to go beyond what one has, to grasp what could be. I want to finish not only my Bachelor's, but my Masters degree for myself, for them, and for the people I hope to work with

I have always tried to set clear targets and reach them whatever happens. At the moment, despite the fact that I am fully indulged in studying, I find time and strength to start up new activities and reach new goals. One of my short-term goals relates to one of my dreams is making a one year plan for this year and follow it. I create short term and long term goals for myself to keep structure in my life. The other short term goals are to succeed academically, to quit smoking...
